An Ending Beginning
Due to the fact that I'm clearing things out (and by things, I mean tables, lamps, rugs, sofa, ottomans, light-fixtures, etc), I created this little blog to let you know what it looks like and how much it costs. Along for the ride is my little Ugly Doll, Wedgehead. Most of the time, he's silent. Today when he saw me pull out the camera — and having overheard my excited exclamations after last night's planning meeting with Rafael — his shyness fell away and he quickly attached himself to the project. He's feeling sentimental about some of his favorite furniture pieces. I told him to get over it, but we'll see how long that takes.

The Bedtime Guy :: SOLD
Filey, Jr :: SOLD
Long Neck :: SOLD
If this doesn't bring tears to your eyes, I don't know what will. Although I'm not exactly sure on the nature of their relationship, Long Neck and Wedge have been spending every minute together. I think they were better friends than I detected! Look how I caught Wedgey reaching to hug LN and LN's bent, saddened head. Great little lamp with 2 adjustable joints.
Filey :: SOLD
Shelfy :: SOLD
Mira-Mira, Jr :: $55
Well, buying it for its magical powers didn't work. Wedgey stands in front of Mira-Mira all the time, asking who will be the next president (hoping it'll be him). Mira-Mira never says a word. I think she's a mute mirror, so good luck if you're hoping Snow-White accessibility. Mira-Mira is pretty heavy, rimmed with decorative edges.
Melissa, the Mute Table :: SOLD
I know what you're thinking: how does he have BOTH a mute mirror AND table? Well, folks, all I can say is it must be in the water. Melissa has been one of my favorite things, here. Memories of so many dinners with choice, brilliant friends and family. She has a little mark on her face where I used to use my mouse and a couple of nicks. Otherwise, great shape. She has 4 chairs, all in great condition, that surround her. She is about 41" square top and 3' feet from floor to top. Wedgey likes to play Prison Break with her chairs...
T.O.M (Tread On Me) :: SOLD
Although his name seems so... sub-par, he really keeps the dirt off. At a nice 8'x10' size, this covering almost covers everything. Tread On Me has 3 sons, as well: a long runner (24"x72") and two smaller rectangular shapes (1'11"x3'1"). Buy all of them together and I'll charge $120 (a total of 4 rugs). I will not be able to clean them, because of the immediacy of clearing everything out, but they will be vacuumed, many times over before you take them home. Oh! And I have another rug, in the Moon Room. Ask about that if interested: its about 4'x7'. floral patterns with same color schematic as Tread On Me.
'Ol Glass Head :: $130
This is a Dallas Palace original! I treated the metal and had the glass cut for the top. It is a great piece, completely hand-crafted by my gnarled and aging hands. Hip. Funky. And very flat, as Wedgey so easily demonstrates. Its not kid friendly, though. Some sharp edges and it usually takes 2 people to haul it around. Length: 52"; Height: 2.75'; Width: 19".
Mira-Mira :: $65
The Plastic Twins :: SOLD
Sofi, the Soft-hipped Sofa :: $575
Justin Silverlamp :: $50
Manly Chest :: SOLD
Ottomans :: SOLD
These little guys were fun to put together, using their different skins. No, it isn't real snake skin. Use them as table or resting places for those 10, little piggies. Excellent condition and they work as a pair, very well. Wedgey was trying to talk me out of it, as he was practicing his inversion poses for yoga. As if that is going to deter me...
